Better Business Bureau is warning consumers about Sky Energy Travel, Inc., a travel agency located in Boston, MA. This business was started in 2004 by manager, May Woo Lei. Since June 2012, BBB has seen an increase in complaints filed against Sky Energy Travel, Inc. BBB has also seen an increase in people Checking Out Sky Energy Travel in the last 30 days.
“It’s important to do your research and make sure you are dealing with a reliable business before you make travel arrangements,” said Paula Fleming spokesperson for the local BBB.
According to BBB files, this business has a pattern of complaint concerning service issues and refund issues. Consumers state that they book travel through this business, pay the fees necessary, but the business does not come through with products purchased. Consumers also state that they do not receive refunds from this business.
According to consumer complaints, Sky Energy Travel, Inc. accepts cash or check only for bookings and cancels flights within the following days. Consumers also report that Sky Energy Travel changes the flights, itineraries and e-tickets without notice or approval and makes empty promises about refunds.
BBB has not received a response from Sky Energy Travel, Inc. on the majority of complaints filed with the BBB.
